Nneka Irobunda is a Choreographer, professional dancer and creative director based in NYC. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria but moved to the Bronx NYC at the age of 5. Nneka Irobunda is also known as @delacyn on Instagram. As an artist whose work surrounds her African heritage, Irobunda has successfully grown her brand in the entertainment industry while embracing her identity and staying true to her roots through her artistic vision and production.
Nneka is an amazing, strong and adaptable professional. Irobunda is an experienced Professional Dancer with a demonstrated history of working in the entertainment industry. Ms.Irobunda graduated from Scripps College with a BFA double majoring in Psychology and Dance Choreography/Performance. She is trained in many styles including ballet, modern, west African, hip-hop, heel (femmology), dancehall, African dance styles, and more. Through all this training she was able to find her specific pocket and quality movement by fusing some of the styles together. She started her Afro-Beastilettos brand and classes in 2017. Now she travels the world teaching her unique movement expression. Her classes are a mix of Afro-fusion and heels technique. Her dance workshop and brand "Afro-Beastilettos" has toured in Europe and throughout the US. She is currently a New York Knicks City Dancer. She assisted choreographed Sean Paul’s “Naked Truth” Music Video. Irobunda was one of the back up dancers for Cardi B’s historic 2019 Grammy Award “Money,” performance. She has choreographed for artist such as Davido, Missy Elliot, Vanessa Da Mata, Adekunle Gold, Juls, Wizkid, DJ Tunez, Mr. Vegas and more. In addition her credits include Missy Elliot, Tracy Anderson, Trippie Red, YFN Lucci and more. She has choreographed for the BET Awards/ She has also played the lead female role in many music videos.
